Kansuiryu Karate has benefited from the patronage of a great many supporters, particularly in the staging of the annual World Kansuiryu Full Contact Karate Championships in Japan. The organisation is particularly grateful to our three principal sponsors in Japan, Watanabe-san, Yokohata-san and Shida-san. The financial and administrative support of these gentlemen has greatly contributed to the growth of Kansuiryu Karate in general. In particular their help has been instrumental in the establishment of Kansuiryu Karate in Australia and the ongoing scholarship program whereby Australian students are selected for sponsored trips to compete in the World Kansuiryu Full Contact Karate Championships in Japan.
Kansuiryu Karate Australia has also been very fortunate to have the support of Sushi Train, Cairns Central. The generous sponsorship of Sushi Train has been instrumental in equipping the Cairns dojo with the high-density foam matting, which allows our students to train whilst reducing the risk of injury from falls.
